This program is about effective management
of compensation budget.
It is designed to help organization create
and maintain a reward management system that supports
their strategic objectives. It will take you from the use of the
Guide Charts towards the implementation, administration and
policy-making process of reward management.
After the program I hope that you will have learned about:
- Knowledge and practice in developing
job grades
- Technical skill in the use of surveys and market
comparisons in base salary administration
- a technical ability to develop company pay policy
lines
- skills in developing base salary ranges for the
organization and administering salary
system
If you are accountable for refining and enhancing your company's salary administration systems, you will benefit from this course. Or, if you are a C&B Manager and your organization participated/participating in market Salary Survey, you will also benefit from this course.
Ideally, after the program, you will be making technical
recommendations to senior management on issues relating
to compensation and benefits.
What will happen during the two days is I will introduce
to you the reward management, compensation
philosophy and strategy and also analysis of the
internal and external situation in terms of competitiveness of pay
within different kinds of organizations and business. Together,
we will try to practice on developing an overall compensation plan
architecture.
I would strongly suggest to you that you take your lap-top / notebook with you because we will use it from second half day of Day One and the whole of Day Two.
During the practice, we will have an interactive
discussion and take you into a step-by-step
way of salary management and making comparison of
companies to start making market line and salary line.
